Working Together for Co-Existence: N/a’an ku sĂȘ Hosts Human-Wildlife Conflict Workshop at Harnas

Human-wildlife coexistence workshop

The N/a’an ku sĂȘ Foundation is proud to announce an upcoming Human-Wildlife Conflict Workshop taking place on Thursday, 24 July, at Harnas, Farm 418 near Gobabis in Namibia’s Omaheke Region. This important event aims to bring together farmers, conservationists, and key stakeholders for a day of practical engagement, discussion, and shared learning on the pressing issue of human-wildlife co-existence in Namibia.

Human-wildlife conflict is one of the most significant conservation challenges across Africa. In Namibia, where wildlife and farming communities often share the same landscapes, finding sustainable solutions that benefit both people and animals is vital.

This interactive workshop will feature presentations from the Rapid Response Unit (RRU) and other experts, offer hands-on activities, and create space for open dialogue between attendees. By encouraging information sharing and collaboration, N/a’an ku sĂȘ aims to strengthen relationships and equip farmers and conservationists with tools to mitigate carnivore conflict and promote peaceful co-existence.
