And Caesar has his Cleopatra. Having come to the N/a’an ku sê Foundation Wildlife Sanctuary just a few weeks apart, Caesar and Cleopatra grew up together and remain firm friends. Similarly orphaned due to conflict, Cleopatra, affectionately called Cleo, also needed to be hand raised. Cleo took to sanctuary life like a baboon to bananas. She quickly crept into the hearts of staff, volunteers and fellow baboons – a tiny force to be reckoned with. Our gorgeous girl displays a feisty nature at times, taking no nonsense from troop members and asserting her dominance.
