Meet Caesar, a true little emperor of the troop of habituated chacma baboons of the N/a’an ku sê Foundation Wildlife Sanctuary. Did you know that baboons are considered pest animals in Namibia? This, tragically, does not protect them from persecution. As a result, many are orphaned at very young ages, the N/a’an ku sê Wildlife Sanctuary their last chance. Release back into the wilds of Namibia is not permitted by law. With us they find a forever home, a home made as natural and stimulating as possible.

Caesar was orphaned at a very young age, having lost his mother due to conflict. Hand raising the tiny bundle ensured his survival. He has developed into a cheeky chacma, loving his life in the troop. Daily walks on the N/a’an ku sê Reserve are a definite highlight for this bouncing boy whose tender nature wins over all who meet him.

Adopt Caesar for yourself or as a gift for just USD 150.00 per year. All funds received aid the animals of the N/a’an ku sê Foundation Wildlife Sanctuary.
