Join the Journey: Volunteer at N/a’an ku sê

At N/a’an ku sê, volunteering is more than a visit. It is a chance to become part of something bigger. Whether you are drawn to wildlife conservation, community outreach, education or desert research, our volunteer programmes offer a variety of paths to make a real impact.

Picture yourself working alongside our conservation team. You could prepare food for orphaned and rescued animals, clean enclosures, assist with enrichment activities or help care for juvenile wildlife in rehabilitation. Or perhaps you will join research efforts tracking free roaming carnivores, analysing camera trap data and conducting game counts across vast reserves.

You might choose to support our humanitarian and educational work. Volunteering at the Lifeline Clinic allows you to bring healthcare to remote San communities. Helping at our primary school provides free education, meals and opportunities for children who would otherwise be left behind.

Maybe your calling lies in the desert, joining us at remote sanctuaries like the desert retreat or wildlife estates to help protect fragile landscapes and endangered species.

Every project, whether caring for animals, teaching children, delivering healthcare or restoring habitat, plays a vital role in our mission to conserve Namibia’s wildlife, landscape and communities. Volunteering with N/a’an ku sê gives you the chance to learn, grow and leave a lasting legacy, helping animals heal, supporting communities and protecting wild places for generations to come.

If you are ready to make a difference and be part of a journey filled with purpose, discovery and compassion, we invite you to join us at N/a’an ku sê in 2026.
