I feel incredibly privileged to have the amazing opportunity to see three leopards released back to the wild where they belong. I truly recommend my experience at N/a‘an ku sê and would like to thank Flo and Cila for all their work.

N/a'an ku sê plays a vital role in rescuing and releasing threatened cats in Namibia to help reduce human-wildlife conflict. We have released a number of cheetah and leopard into the spectacular area of NamibRand and our Windhoek study site, each fitted with a radio collar. As an important part of the research team, Carnivore Conservation Volunteers join us in daily tracking to research these big cats activities and movements.

By taking part in our project as a Carnivore Conservation Volunteer you will get involved first hand with all aspects of our research programme including data collection and processing and carnivore tracking out in the field. This is a unique opportunity to experience African wilderness and track big cats in the wild as well as contributing to the conservation of these large carnivores. Find out what's involved in our carnivore tracking program and read our volunteers account of their exciting trip.

Volunteers are the key to the success of this special place. All the money raised through our volunteering programme goes directly back into the projects at N/a'an ku sê which provide employment, education and accommodation to the local Bushman community and ensure the rescue, survival and rehabilitation of the animals which are housed in natural environments around the site.

N/a'an ku sê is committed to playing a key role in conservation and the protection of the Namibian wildlife, land and people.

Please see the attached list for the starting dates for the CCV programme over the coming year. A maximum of four volunteers can take part in this programme at any one time so please book your slot early to avoid disappointment!

Book directly with us and volunteer from £805/€875 *for two weeks including accommodation, food and activities. *Price is subject to exchange rates (ZAR 14,460)

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WE ARE EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH OUR EMAILS BEING RECEIVED BY HOTMAIL ACCOUNTS. IF YOU MAKE AN ENQUIRY VIA HOTMAIL AND HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM US WITHIN TWO DAYS PLEASE RE-SEND AND WE WILL REPLY VIA AN ALTERNATE EMAIL ADDRESS. THANK YOU.
