We have four exciting volunteering programmes to choose from:
Wildlife Conservation - feeding and
caring for our baboons, farm animals, large carnivores and various other species of African
wildlife rehabilitated at the sanctuary as well as participating in carnivore conservation
activities.
Carnivore Conservation -
helping to monitor and track cheetahs and leopards, carrying out game counts and
participating in other conservation activities in two stunning locations.
Medical - helping to provide
primary healthcare to the poverty stricken San Bushman community through our Lifeline
Clinic in the East of Namibia.
Teaching -
assisting the teacher at our Clever Cubs School in providing education to the San Bushman
children at N/a’an ku sê.
If you have a skill or trade and would like to help our farm manager with the running of
the Sanctuary as well as train our team of San (Bushman workers) you can join us as
a Mechanic or Tradesman volunteer and receive a 50%
discount of the normal volunteering price.
You can join us for anytime from two weeks to a maximum of three months and choose one
project or a combination depending on how long you are here. You can join us at any time
throughout the year but we would prefer you to arrive on either a Monday or Tuesday to make
the most of the project.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has advised us that Visas are necessary for volunteer placements in Namibia and need to be arranged in
advance. A visa application form and more information can be found
under FAQs.
We welcome volunteers from all across the world aged 18+ to join our projects and no
experience or qualifications are necessary.
